Wilson’s season-opening half-mile time earned him first place on the NEC leader board as well as the year’s first weekly track award. The second-year Mountaineer already has a ticket to the 2014 IC4A Championships after completing the 800m run in 1:53.87 at the Navy Invitational. With the 2013 NEC Indoor 800m champion having graduated, Wilson has made himself the early favorite for the crown.
