Crimmins became the first kicker in Duquesne history to hit four field goals in a single game, and the rookie just missed hitting a fifth three-point try. The redshirt-freshman plackekicker hit field goals of 33, 27, 30 and 25 yards during Duquesne’s 33-23 road win over FCS independent Monmouth. Crimmins, who hit on all three of his PATs, totaled 15 points in the game.  He also handled the kickoff duties for the Dukes, averaging 62.0 yards per kick and sending two of his seven kickoffs for touchbacks.  He converted on three first-half field goal attempts as the Dukes took a 23-7 lead into the break. Crimmins opened the game’s scoring when his 33-yard field goal capped a 7-play, 48-yard drive with 10:58 remaining in the first quarter. After failing to extend Duquesne’s 30-23 lead with his lone miss of the game, Crimmins atoned.  The rookie sealed the win by hitting a 25-yarder that gave the Dukes a 33-23 advantage with 00:19 remaining.
