Noel's first season as Sacred Heart’s starting quarterback has resulted in the program’s first Northeast Conference title in 12 years. Making his 12th straight start, the Jerry Rice Award candidate produced 260 yards of total offense and four touchdowns in a 42-25 road win at Robert Morris. Unfazed by the magnitude of the Week 12 matchup against Joe Walton’s Colonials, Noel went 10-of-19 passing for 186 yards and three scores. The dual threat quarterback made it through the game without suffering a sack for the fourth week in a row. Averaging 12.3 yards per carry, Noel gained 74 yards on the ground and his 35-yard scoring scamper gave Sacred Heart a 21-3 lead with 6:08 remaining in the third quarter.
