After seeing his production last week, Saint Francis U fans have to be excited at the prospect of Harmon running the point the next four years for the Red Flash. Harmon, out of fabled Christ the King in Queens, NY, averaged 14.7 points, 3.0 assists, 2.3 steals and shot 50.0 percent from three-point territory, sinking 8-16 from long range. In last Monday’s 60-57 win over Navy, the 5-11 guard netted a game-high 20 points, and added five assists and four steals. He hit 5-7 shots from the floor and made both his three-point attempts. Two nights later, Harmon finished with 10 points and four assists as the Red Flash played Dayton dead even for 36 minutes before the Flyers pulled away in the game’s latter stages. He wrapped his week at three-time defending Patriot League champion Bucknell on Saturday, collecting a team-best 14 points, including 4-9 shots from outside the arc. Harmon currently leads all NEC freshman with 3.3 apg, 1.8 spg and 2.0 three-pointers per game, and ranks second with 12.3 ppg.
