Hannon was the lone Fairleigh Dickinson bowler to start all nine matches during the opening weekend of Northeast Conference play. With the Knights’ lineup depleted by illness, Hannon stepped up and helped FDU post a 6-3 record against a field comprised solely of Top 20 national teams. The rookie righty posted a 20.18 overall frame average over the course of 90 frames bowled. Helping Fairleigh Dickinson compile the highest total pinfall of all seven NEC programs on hand, Hannon threw a team-high 56 strikes in 110 attempts (.509). She converted 89.4 percent of her non-split spare attempts and filled 87.8 percent of frames bowled. She was consistently good during both the traditional and baker portions of the meet.  Her 201.2 traditional game average ranked her fourth overall on the weekend leader board.  Hannon’s 224-pin performance spearheaded FDU’s traditional team win over LIU Brooklyn. She also broke the 200 mark in victories over Sacred Heart and Adelphi.  Hannon was pressed into the anchor spot when the flu bug finally caught up to Liat Vizenfeld during quint-baker play on Sunday. The freshman handled the added responsibility well and helped the Knights win two of their final three matches of the meet.
