The Colonials have been searching for consistency in the placekicking game and Sheehan provided some in a Week 11 road win over Central Connecticut. Robert Morris had been 4-for-12 on field goal attempts entering the contest, but Sheehan converted on both of his three-point chances at CCSU. Sheehan, who also tacked on six PATs in the 54-21 victory, hit from 22 and 25 yards out to held stake the Colonials to an early 13-7 lead. Sheehan handled all 10 kickoffs for Robert Morris and helped neutralize a usually-dangerous Central Connecticut return unit. CCSU’s Rob Hollomon, who entered the game ranked third nationally with 34.5 yards per kickoff return, averaged just 16.5 yards on his four kickoff run backs against RMU.
