Kuntz spearheaded the defensive effort that bottled up Walter Payton Award candidate Kyle Harbridge and held Saint Francis to only 131 yards of total offense. The sophomore linebacker made 3.0 tackles for loss and had a hand in two takeaways. Kuntz was a key reason why the Dukes held Harbridge, who entered the game as the FCS national leader in rushing average, to his lowest single-game output (41 rush yds) of the season. He stopped Harbridge on three occasions during the contest, limiting him to a total of -2 yards on those plays. Kuntz, who finished with six tackles, tipped a pass that was intercepted on Saint Francis’ first possession of the game. The turnover set Duquesne’s offense up at the SFU 24-yard line and the Dukes found paydirt three plays later. Kuntz produced a strip sack on Saint Francis’ last possession of the day.
