Robert Morris limited Bryant to only three points in a Week 10 victory and the cornerback play of Eddie was a key reason why. Eddie drew the tough test of defending the all-time leading receiver in NEC history, and the third-year Colonial passed with flying colors. The defensive back made two interceptions and logged a pass breakup while limiting Bryant’s Jordan Harris to only 22 yards on two receptions. Eddie, who finished with five tackles, denied Bryant a trip into the red zone with his first pick of the day, which came with Robert Morris protecting a 7-0 lead midway through the opening quarter. His second interception came on the first play of the second half. The 24-yard return set the Colonials up at Bryant’s 28 and they turned the prime field position into a touchdown 2:56 later.
