NEC Women's Tennis Rookie of the Month
Competing in three Invitational events, Pasricha finished October with a 6-3 singles record and captured the flight 1 doubles title with teammate Nicole Chis at the NJIT Inviational this past weekend. At the USTA BJK NTC Women’s Collegiate Invitational, she advanced to the “B” flight consolation final after beating opponents from Binghamton and Fordham in the back draw. Pasricha also reached the flight 4 doubles consolation final teaming with Manuela Leme. At NJIT, she earned flight “A” singles victories against Fairfield, St. John’s and NJIT, but fell to URI’s Galina Chernyka in the title match. Pasricha and Chis downed Albany’s Rocio Lopez Alberca and Kirsten Scott, 8-7 (4), to take home the flight 1 doubles championship.
