DoVale claims the NEC Defensive Player of the Week honor for the second week in a row and the fourth time this season after blanking Central Connecticut and Sacred Heart to notch her sixth and seventh shutouts of the season. DoVale has helped FDU to five consecutive clean sheets, all in conference action. The Georgia native picked up her sixth shutout on Senior Night last Friday, posting four saves against the Blue Devils. Traveling to Sacred Heart, DoVale made four big saves to fend off the Pioneers, helping the second place Knights remain as the lone NEC team without a loss (4-0-2) and just one point behind league leader Saint Francis U. DoVale currently ranks second in the league with a 1.19 GAA.
