Stepping into LIU Brooklyn's top offensive spot, Ignjic led the Blackbirds to a 2-0 weekend with straight set wins over FDU and Sacred Heart. Ignjic recorded 26 kills over the weekend, including 15 versus the third place Pioneers. The sophomore outside hitter led LIU with 4.33 kills per set and hit .362 for the weekend. She also added a service ace, four digs and two block assists. Ignjic becomes the third LIU Brooklyn player to earn Molten/NEC Player of the Week accolades, joining teammates Annika Foit and Vera Djuric. She ranks third on the circuit with 3.39 kills per set on the year.
