Opening her junior season at the Kutztown Baker and Team Invitational tournaments, Leid looked like the NTCA All-American she was as a rookie. Leid posted a 20.95 overall frame average over the course of 11 matches, nine of which were won by Saint Francis. She was the top individual performer during Saturday’s Kutztown Baker Invite. Helping the Flash post a 5-1 record during baker play, Leid averaged a meet-best 21.31 pins per frame. She was nearly just as good during Sunday’s Kutztown Team Invite, recording the highest five-game traditional pinfall (1,030) of any NEC bowler contesting the meet. Delaware State’s Brianna Bush (210.4) was the only player to post a higher traditional average than the 206.0 mark that Leid produced. With Leid’s help, Saint Francis posted the highest total pinfall on both Saturday and Sunday. Leid threw a team-high 61 strikes in 117 attempts (.521) over the two days of competition. She knocked down 2,053 pins in 98 frames.
