Goldman, the reigning NEC Champion, began her sophomore campaign right where she left off. Goldman swept the diving competition this past weekend in the Blue Devils’ dual meet with LIU Post. The Blue Devils entered three divers in the meet and each competed for the top spot. Goldman topped her teammates from the 1-meter board, registering an impressive score of 240.35, just 5.2 points off of the CCSU freshman record which Goldman set last year. She also claimed the victory in the 3-meter competition, registering a score of 242.10, a full 25 points higher than the second-place recipient.
