Rahming did something no Duke had done in more than 15 years as Duquesne opened Northeast Conference play with a victory over defending champion Wagner. The wide receiver produced Duquesne’s first punt return for a touchdown since November 1, 1997. With the Dukes clinging to a 20-7 lead midway through the fourth quarter, Rahming salted away the win by fielding AJ Firestone’s punt and taking it 62 yards to paydirt. It was only the second punt return for a touchdown by a NEC player this season and the first during conference play. In all, Rahming returned six kicks for a total of 107 yards in the 34-7 victory.
