Robert Morris has already topped its 2012 scoring output, and Brett is the main reason why. The Jamaican-born forward exploded for four goals last week to lift his season total to seven. Brett’s four markers carried the Colonials to a pair of victories and lifted their 2013 goal total to 16 (one more than they scored all of last season). After RMU broke a scoreless tie in the 77th minute against Steel City rival Duquesne, Brett added an insurance tally 1:03 later and the Colonials went on to complete a 3-0 shutout of the Atlantic 10 member. Brett provided all of Robert Morris’ scoring in a 3-1 win over MAC member Buffalo four days later. The sophomore took a cross, controlled it and blasted it past the keeper in the sixth minute for the game’s first goal. He doubled the Colonials’ advantage to 2-0 with a goal in the 61st minute and completed the hat trick 13:34 later.
