Castrogivanni notched her second win of the 2013 season on Saturday afternoon, taking home the individual title at the 37th Annual Father Leeber S.J. Invitational held at Fairfield University. The Pioneers had the top-two finishers in the race and had four runners finish in the top-10 Saturday. Castrogivanni made it two-straight wins on the season, breaking the tape with a time of 18:43.70 on the 5k course. She entered Saturday’s race off a win at the Bryant Invitational two weeks ago. Castrogivanni took second place at last year’s race with a time of 18:48. She is off to a blazing start to her season with two wins and top-five finishes in all three races.
