Geesey’s two fourth-quarter field goals put the rookie kicker in the Saint Francis record book and put the Red Flash in position to pull a near-upset of nationally-ranked James Madison. His first kick, which came from 45 yards out, tied the game at 17-17 with 5:02 into the final quarter. After James Madison went back in front with 7:49 left in the game, Geesy answered with a 47-yarder to pull Saint within 24-20. The field goals are both amongst the top 5 longest in program history with the latter tying for second all-time. The redshirt freshman from Harrisburg was perfect on four kick attempts on Saturday night, including a pair of PATs. He is a perfect 3-for-3 on field goal attempts thus far having also nailed a 41-yarder in the opener at Georgia Southern.
