Loughnane played a big role in Saint Francis U’s undefeated week, helping the Red Flash knock off IPFW, 3-1, and draw even with former Summit League power Oakland, 0-0, at the Qdoba Invitational, hosted by Marshall University. The Pittsburgh, PA native netted the game-winning goal late in the first half against IPFW, ripping a shot to the far corner with just 54 seconds remaining to give SFU a 2-1 advantage. He then helped control the pace of play with three shots against Oakland, giving him six on the weekend.
