The redshirt freshman has made two collegiate starts under center and has two wins and two NEC Rookie of the Week awards to show for them. Nearly totaling 300 yards of offense for the second straight week, Noel was again an effective field general for SHU in a road win. He was 17-of-26 passing for 152 yards and one touchdown, while amassing 121 yards (on 17 carries) and a touchdown on the ground. Noel was responsible for the Pioneers’ first touchdown of the day when he raced 66 yards to the end zone after Lafayette returned the game’s opening kickoff for a score. Noel was efficient running the 2:00 drill, driving the Pioneers into position for Finney’s game-winning FG try.
