Peters registered one goal and one assist over the weekend, marking the first points of her collegiate career. All three of her points came Sunday’s 3-2 setback to a UNLV team that is one of the favorites in the Mountain West this season. Peters assisted on the Blackbirds first goal to tie the match at one before finding the net herself in the 82nd minute to bring LIU within one goal. In Friday’s 1-0 loss to New Mexico State the freshman tallied two shots on goal.
