Lissek backstopped the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights to consecutive 1-0 victories over Drexel and Lehigh. He made five saves in each game, including four point-blank stops, and recorded the 22nd and 23rd shutouts of his career. On the road against Drexel, which was picked second in the CAA preseason poll, he tamed the Dragons early on, stopping a shot on a breakaway in the 30th minute before diving to his right to save the rebound attempt. He continued to showcase his talents two days later at home against Lehigh. He made a point-blank save in the 85th minute and closed the door completely as time was expiring, diving to his left to take away a sure goal.
