Alberti finally returned to the field against Holy Cross after missing the entire 2012 campaign due to injury and proceeded to drill a last-minute game-winning field goal. With Bryant facing a 16-14 deficit, Alberti coolly connected on a 30-yard field goal with 00:38 remaining in regulation to give the Bulldogs their second-ever win over a Patriot League member. The clutch kick was his first field goal attempt of the season. He was a perfect 2-for-2 on PAT tries.
