Siar once again came through in the clutch for the Colonials, who clinched a share of the NEC regular season title and earned the top seed in the upcoming NEC Tournament by sweeping doubleheaders with Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart over the weekend. The Shaler Area product hit .333 and slugged .833 with a pair of homers and six RBIs in five games on the week. In an 8-6 win over the Bobcats in the second half of Saturday's twinbill, she went 2-for-3 and put RMU ahead for good in the second inning with a two-RBI single. Siar began the following afternoon by blasting a three-run homer in the first inning of a 9-1 win over the Pioneers, then added a two-run shot in the nightcap as the Colonials won by the same 9-1 final score. The two round-trippers gave her a team-best seven on the year and 18 for her career, which ranks fourth in school history. It also marked the second time in her career she blasted a pair of homers during the final doubleheader of the year to help RMU clinch the regular season title.
