Aliotta keeps the NEC Field Athlete of the Week award in Hawk hands, following in the footsteps of Qiyana Hill. The junior shot putter smashed Monmouth’s program record on her way to winning the Lehigh Games. Putting the shot 14.71m (48’ 3”) in her final performance before the NEC Outdoor Championships commence at the Jersey Shore, Aliotta moved within four centimeters of league leader Lindsay Aponte (Sacred Heart). Aliotta also moved up to the No. 2 spot on the NEC hammer throw leader board, tossing the implement 50.90m (167’) at Lehigh.
