The first-year Pioneer produced a convincing victory at the Yale Springtime Invitational, flinging the implement 50.94m (167’ 1”). Wlasuk’s latest showing moved him into second on the league leader board, 53 centimeters behind Jeffrey. Only one other thrower in SHU history (Evan Lasher) has put the discus further than Wlasuk. The SHU rookie has won all four discus competitions he has contested this spring.
