Eberhardt earned the No. 1 seed in the steeple chase for the upcoming weekend’s NEC Outdoor Championships. The third-year Blue Devil claimed the bronze medal competing in the Penn Relays College Division after crossing the line in 10:37.64. Eberhardt’s time, which moved her past Sacred Heart’s Brianna Castrogivanni on the NEC leader board, is the second-fastest in league history. Coming in more than 17 seconds better than the ECAC Championship qualifying standard, Eberhardt’s performance is second only to the10:29.27 SHU’s Katie Wrinkle ran in 2004.
