Zarozny hit safely in all five of Bryant’s games last week and produced three multiple-hit showing during the Bulldogs’ NEC series victory over LIU Brooklyn. On the way to his third NEC Rookie of the Week award this season, the left fielder hit .400 (8-for-20) with three doubles, one home run, four RBI and five runs scored. After recorded a hit and a run in a mid-week loss to UConn, Zarozny brought out the big stick for the series opener against LIU. Bryant’s 2-0 lead was plenty for Bulldogs’ ace Peter Kelich, but just in case it wasn’t, Zarozny smashed a two-run double in the sixth inning and added a two-run homer in the seventh of the 10-0 Game 1 win. He produced three hits, including a pair of two-baggers, during Saturday’s doubleheader. Helping Bryant secure the series win with a 14-0 shutout in the finale, Zarozny picked up a pair of hits and scored a run.
