Hill came up shy of the finals in the discus competition at last year’s NEC Championships, but the third-year Hawk has established herself as a serious title contender in 2013. Easily topping the field at the Moravian Greyhound Invitational, Hill threw the discus 46.06m (151’ 1”). The mark, which topped the ECAC Championship qualifying standard by a healthy margin, puts the Monmouth Hawk into the No. 2 spot on the Northeast Conference leader board.
