Johnson established herself as the Northeast Conference leader in two events, putting forth a sprint double never before seen in the history of Saint Francis track & field. The Red Flash junior ran record times in both the 100m and 200m dashes at the Bucknell Team Challenge. She struck gold in the latter, besting the field at Bucknell by clocking in at 24.04. Johnson’s 11.67s performance in the 100m dash made her the second-fastest sprinter at the meet as only Penn State’s Mahagony Jones ran better. In addition to making her a league leader and school record holder, both times were well under the qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships.
