Messina continued her stellar sophomore campaign this week as she added three wins and two more shutouts to her already commanding total--one against Holy Cross and one in the sweep over NEC foe Fairleigh Dickinson. She now boasts nine for the season and 16 in her career, as well as the title of the winningest pitcher in CCSU history. This week, she posted a 0.35 ERA, struck out 28 batters, and allowed only three walks and one earned run in 20 innings.
