Had she produced the same performance at last year’s NEC Outdoor Championships, she would be a meet record-holder. Dearborn ran an impressive 10K at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic last weekend, crossing the line in 35:49.81. The Blue Devil’s time is nearly 30 full seconds better than the NEC’s championship meet record. Easily surpassing the qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships, Dearborn moved up to the No. 44 spot on the NCAA East Region leader board. If qualifying ended today, the junior would make the cut for the NCAA regional championships. Despite her magnificent performance, Dearborn’s time ranks second in the NEC this season. Sacred Heart senior Alyssa Selmquist is the current league leader by virtue of the 34:58.98 she ran at Stanford on March 29.
