Lipschutz smashed the IC4A Championship qualifying standard with his latest performance. Claiming the silver medal at the George Mason Spring Invitational, the first-year Hawk threw the javelin 64.76m (212’ 6”) to move up one spot on the NEC performance list. Lipschutz’s mark ranks second overall in the Northeast Conference, placing him behind only Robert Morris’ Chris Carper who sits 12th in all of NCAA Division I. The Monmouth freshman ranks 53rd in the nation and sits 28th in the NCAA East Region (Top 48 are invited to the East Region Championships).
