Bryant ran its win streak to 18 games in a row last week, and Brown provided a healthy amount of offense to help make it happen. The former all-NEC outfielder manned the hot corner as the Bulldogs won all five games they contested last week. Recording at least one hit in all five of the victories, Brown went 10-for-17 (.588) at the plate with four RBI, four doubles, three walks and three stolen bases. After going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI in Bryant’s 8-1 mid-week win over Atlantic 10 member Rhode Island, Brown continued his tear against NEC rival Quinnipiac. He recorded a hit in each of the series’ first two games, and then accounted for an offensive explosion over the back end of the four-game set. Brown reached base eight times in nine plate appearances during Sunday’s doubleheader. He went 6-for-7 at the dish with two walks, two RBI and three steals as Bryant out-scored Quinnipiac by a 14-5 margin.
