Massa won 81 percent of his faceoffs taken and gobbled up 26 ground balls as the Bryant Bulldogs posted a 2-0 record last week with wins over Holy Cross (10-6) and Wagner (15-6). Overall, he went 34-of-42 from the faceoff X to up his season average to 71.6 percent. Against Holy Cross, the reigning NEC Rookie of the Year went 15-of-20 with nine ground balls. He then went 19-of-22 with 17 ground balls at Wagner. Massa currently leads the NEC and the country in faceoff wins (214), faceoff winning percentage (71.6) and ground balls per game (12.54).
