Olson collects dual NEC Player and Rookie of the Week honors following a 3-0 week competing at #5 singles. The Sykesville, MD native rallied from a set down last Wednesday to beat Siena’s Cassie Braz, 4-6, 7-6 (8), 10-6, in non-conference action, then picked up a pair of NEC victories. Olson once again came from behind on Friday to beat Quinnipiac’s Mary Chupa, 1-6, 6-4, 10-6, and earned a 6-3, 6-1 decision over Bryant’s Jovana Hadzi-Tanovic the following afternoon. By virtue of her perfect week, Olson improved to 10-5 in singles play on the year and has tallied a 4-1 mark against league rivals. She also teamed with Alyssa Migliorini to win two-of-three matches at #3 doubles.
