With his team enjoying a week off from Northeast Conference competition, Zarozny continued his hot hitting against the Ivy League’s Brown and MAAC member Siena. The freshman outfielder recorded at least one base-knock in all four of Bryant’s victories last week to extend his hit streak to 11 games in a row. Manning the No. 2 spot in the lineup, the 5-foot-11 right-handed hitter batted .333 for the week and scored a run in each of the Bulldog’s first three games. He started the week with a clutch hit against Ocean State rival Brown. Zarozny laced an RBI single to drive in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning of Bryant’s 11-4 mid-week win and later came around to score. With Bryant facing a 2-1 deficit in the eighth inning of its series opener against Siena, Zarozny singled and eventually came around to touch home with the game-winning run. In Game 2, he was hit by a pitch and scored a run in the fourth frame before singling to lead off the sixth inning of the eventual 11-9 victory. Zarozny went 2-for-4 with two RBI to help Bryant complete the three-game sweep with a 10-5 win in the series finale.
