Chis continues to rack up awards, winning her second consecutive NEC Rookie of the Week accolade to go along with her two NEC Rookie of the Month honors from the fall. Chis, a Highland Park, NJ native, is now 14-3 overall and 3-1 against NEC competition in singles play following a split in a pair of three-set thrillers last week. Playing at the #3 spot for the first time all season, she rallied to beat Sacred Heart’s Nicole Rydzewski, 2-6, 7-5, 10-8, then took Quinnipiac’s Sarah Viebrock - a two-time first team All-NEC performer - to three sets in a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 setback.
