Rapoport makes it back-to-back NEC Player of the Week honors after improving to 4-0 in league play with a pair of #1 singles victories. Last Wednesday the reigning NEC Player of the Year knocked off Sacred Heart’s Gabi Kaldan, 6-1, 6-2, to spark the Knights to a 7-0 win over the Pioneers. Three days later, she outlasted Quinnipiac’s Rachel Cantor, 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 in FDU’s 4-3 win over the Bobcats in a battle of NEC powers. Rapoport has now won three straight singles matches for the Knights, who finished the spring 4-0 against NEC competition.
