This marks the second NEC Player of the Week honor for Morris, who has come on strong over the last month. Now riding a seven-match win streak, Morris stopped Sacred Heart’s James Barnhardt, 7-5, 6-2, in #1 flight play as the Bulldogs tripped up their league rival, 7-0, last Thursday. On Saturday, the Garden City, NY native may have picked up his best-ever singles win, besting Brown’s Michael Reichmann - 11th in the most recent ITA Northeast region singles rankings - in three sets, 5-7, 6-4, 10-5. Morris and Dana Parziale also teamed up for an 8-6 victory at #1 doubles versus SHU, and dropped a narrow 9-7 decision against Brown. Morris is now 10-9, 3-1 NEC on the year in singles and 16-10, 4-0, in doubles action.
