Thimble started his spring season with two impressive rounds for Monmouth. In a dual match with Brevard in Florida, the senior shot an even-par 71 to pace the Hawks. Three days later, Thimble inked a three-over-par 74 at the rain-shortened LaSalle Invitational to tie for fourth place out of 63 competitors and help the Hawks to fifth of 11 teams. Over the two events, Thimble posted a 72.5 stroke average in the 36-holes.
