Ruppert played a large role in leading Robert Morris to an 11-6 victory over Jacksonville this past Tuesday. Ruppert made 14 saves against 20 shots on goal to register a save percentage of .700 for the day. It marked Ruppert’s sixth double-digit save effort of 2013 and the 16th of his career. That effort also allowed Ruppert to keep his streak intact of stopping more than half of the shots on goal he faced in each of his first six games this season. Ruppert then came up with nine stops in RMU’s win over Hobart and, in the process, became the second Colonial ever to surpass 300 careers saves. Ruppert had a .561 save percentage for the week and currently ranks second in the NEC with his .572 mark.
