Bryant is back in the NEC playoff picture and Rucker’s play off the bench is one reason why. The first-year Bulldog made the most of her 41 minutes of floor time last week. Helping Bryant to back-to-back road wins over Wagner and Mount St. Mary’s, Rucker averaged 10.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest. The 5-foot-11 guard was a key contributor to decisive surges in each of the victories that lifted Bryant into a seventh-place tie. Rucker logged 10 points, eight rebounds and two assists in a 69-62 triumph at Mount St. Mary’s. She was extremely active during a 10-0 second-half run that turned a 42-33 deficit into a 43-42 lead. She tallied four points, two assists and two rebounds over the 3:32 span. In only 13 minutes against Wagner, she scored 10 points and pulled down four boards. Rucker entered the contest midway through the opening half and made an immediate impact by scoring six points during her first 2:17 on the floor.
