In just his second game of the season, a 12-9 win over UMBC at home, the Philadelphia, PA product led all scorers with five goals and six points, tying an RMU record for most goals by a rookie. Earlier in the week, he picked up one goal and two assists in his collegiate debut against Bellarmine, a 9-8 setback. Through two games thus far, Rankel leads the Colonials with nine points, six goals, and has scored on over 46 percent of his shots.
