Petit-Homme has significantly improved upon the 500m dash time that landed him his first NEC Rookie of the Week award back in mid-December. The first-year Blackbird completed the race in 1:04.90 at the UAlbany Great Dane Classic. The time, which came in under the qualifying standard for the IC4A Championships, made him the third collegiate finisher in the 23-entrant field. In terms of the NEC leader board, the performance moves Petit-Homme up to the No. 3 spot. He also ran the anchor leg of LIU Brooklyn’s IC4A-qualifying 4x400 relay performance.
