Ingram is the latest in a long line of successful Mount St. Mary’s pole vaulters to contend for a conference title. Immediately making her the early-season favorite to win the NEC Indoor crown, Ingram cleared 3.70m (12’ 1.5”) to take first place at the Navy Women’s Indoor Invitational. The first-year Mountaineer’s winning height puts her in the top spot on the NEC performance list, fifteen centimeters ahead of Robert Morris rookie Olivia Loy. Had she cleared the same height at last year’s NEC Indoor Championships, she would have edged out RMU’s Casey Folga for the conference crown by 22 centimeters while coming up four centimeters shy of the meet record (3.74) set by former Mount pole vaulter Mandy Jenkins in 2004.
