His season is only one meet old, but Radden is already running faster than he did in the 60-meter final at the 2012 NEC Indoor Championships. Radden opened his senior season by sprinting to a first-place finish amongst a 59-entrant field at Army’s Carleton Crowell Invitational. Radden, whose 6.93 left him 0.09 second shy of capturing a third consecutive 60-meter NEC title last February, crossed the line in 6.86 at Army. Radden, who will enter the 2013 NEC title meet as the defending champion in the 200m, is the first NEC sprinter this season to have surpassed the 60m qualifying standard for the IC4A Championships.
