Alleyne needed only one meet to ascend to the top of the NEC’s triple jump performance list. The FDU freshman placed second at the Fordham Season Opener by triple-jumping 11.22m (36’ 9.75”). The distance is the best by a NEC athlete thus far during this young season. Had she registered such a mark at the 2011 NEC Indoor Championships, she would have scored a seventh-place finish.
