Jeffrey opened his first indoor season as a Monmouth Hawk in grand fashion. The junior thrower put the shot 17.41 (57' 1.5") to win gold at the Monmouth MAC Classic. Although Errol's winning throw ranks third on the early season NCAA Division I performance list, it is not his best mark wearing a Monmouth uniform. Jeffrey, who is one of three Division I shot putters to exceed 57 feet during the season's first weekend of competition, claimed second place at the 2012 NEC Outdoor Championships with a throw of 17.69m (58' 0.5").
