Henderson accomplished something no Mount player had done since 2003 and was sensational down the stretch of a 70-67 road victory over MAAC member Rider. The junior guard poured in 30 points during the win, marking the first time since Nov. 21, 2003 that a Mountaineer hit the 30-point mark in a non-conference contest. Henderson also came up with eight rebounds and four steals, while shooting a stellar 60.0 percent from the field in the victory. She nailed 6 of 8 attempts from three-point range, but it was her two-point jumper that ultimately provided the difference with 00:42 remaining in regulation. The 5-foot-6 guard accounted for nine of the Mount’s final 16 points. The Mountaineers, who trailed by as many as seven points in the second half, grabbed the lead eight times in the contest and Henderson accounted for five of those go-ahead baskets.
