Kelly capped off his senior season in style by leading Saint Francis (PA) past Sacred Heart to a single-season program record fifth victory (at FCS level). The 6-foot-1 quarterback threw three touchdown passes, but did the bulk of his work during the Flash’s 44-24 win running the football. Spearheading a ground game that totaled 344 yards against the Pioneers, the senior signal caller rushed 29 times for 187 yards and one touchdown. Kelly was responsible for 245 yards of total offense (58 pass, 187 rush) and four touchdowns in all (3 pass, 1 rush). He went 6-of-12 passing for 58 yards in his final collegiate contest. His eight-yard touchdown pass and 10-yard run to paydirt, both of which came in the second quarter, helped Saint Francis take a 24-3 lead into halftime.
